Senior Center to host ‘Aging in Place’ - The Crawford County Commission on Aging and Senior Center will host a free Munson breakfast presentation on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 9 a.m. The topic will be “Aging in Place” featuring Lauren Shimek, Clinical Nurse Education Specialist for Munson Home Health. The goal of “Aging in Place” is to help seniors ensure they can live where they choose and get the help that they need for as long as they can while maintaining or improving the quality of their lives and living with dignity. Join Shimek as she gives suggestions on how you can successfully age in place. Breakfast includes omelets to order, golden hashbrowns, blueberry muffins, mixed fruit, juice, and coffee. The breakfast and presentation will be held at the Senior Center, located at 308 Lawndale Street. For more information call (989) 348-7123.
