Hanson Hills to host Egg Hunt - Grayling Recreation Authority will be hosting its annual Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 24, at Hanson Hills Recreation Area. Hunt starts at 10 a.m. For ages 10 and under. For more information contact Hanson Hills (989) 348-9266 or www.hansonhills.org.
United Way accepting funding requests - Crawford County United Way is seeking applications from local charitable health and human service agencies and organizations for fund distribution throughout 2018-2019. Applicants must fully describe their array of services, demonstrate how they meet local needs, and prove their cost-effectiveness and accountability to the community. Box 171, Grayling, MI 49738 or online at www.crawfordunitedway.org/give. All donations are tax deductible and stay in our community.
Little League deadline approaching - There is still time to register for Grayling Little League. Sign up at Sylvester’s or Xpress Copy. This program is for boys or girls from ages four through 14. If your child has not played before, you must provide a copy of their birth certificate. Deadline is April 6. Registration fees are $55 per player for tee ball and $65 per player in coach pitch and up.
Senior Center offers chair yoga - Sit, stretch, and strengthen your way to a happier, healthier you. Chair Yoga is now offered once a month at the Crawford County Commission on Aging. Chair Yoga aims to give you the experience of classical yoga, even if you have mobility issues or find regular yoga challenging. Join instructor Nicole Wethington on Thursday, March 29, at 6 p.m. at the Crawford County Commission on Aging. This class is free and open to the public.
