Hanson Hills to host Easter event - Hop on over to Hanson Hills Recreation Area on Saturday, April 8, for the Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza. A free egg hunt starts at 10 a.m. There will be three areas to search: 4 and under, 5-7 years old, and 8-10 years old. Other activities include a drawing for prizes, portraits with the Easter bunny, and a 50/50 raffle for adults. Hanson Hills Recreation Area is located at 7601 Old Lake Road. Seniors to travel to Detroit Tigers game - The Crawford County Commission on Aging and Senior Center will be traveling to Comerica Park to see the Detroit Tigers vs. Baltimore on Thursday, May 18. The cost of the trip is $93 and includes transportation by charter bus, game ticket, lunch voucher at the stadium, and dinner at the Cracker Barrel. The bus is scheduled to depart from the Grayling Mini Mall at 8 a.m. and return around 10 p.m. Seats are limited. Deadline to register and pay is April 13. Senior Center to host free bluegrass concert - The community is invited to attend a free live concert featuring Barry Van Guilder, also known in bluegrass circles as “The Banjo Picker,” on Thursday, April 6, at 5:45 p.m. at the Crawford County Commission on Aging and Senior Center. The concert will be a happy, clean, high-spirited bluegrass, old country, folk, and western swing. There is no charge for this concert; however, donations are accepted. The event will include a salisbury steak dinner before the concert. Dinner is a suggested $3 donation for those 60 and over and a $5 cost for those under 60. Huddle meeting to be held at Gray Rock - Huddle North Grayling will meet on Wednesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. at the Gray Rock Pub & Grub, located at 2123 Industrial Street. Next Up Huddles are a continuation of the Women’s March. The focus of the meeting is to discuss how to transform the energy from the Women’s Marches into local and national action. Huddles are meant to be positive, inclusive, action-oriented, and grounded in the tradition of nonviolent resistance. 
 
Fitness After Fifty to feature Aerobic Drumming - The Crawford County Commission on Aging and Senior Center is introducing a new activity to its Fitness After Fifty program: Aerobic Drumming. The Aerobic Drumming events will now take place on Thursdays at 3 p.m. at the Senior Center. Aerobic Drumming combines the development of muscular endurance and cardiovascular conditioning. The Senior Center is located at 308 Lawndale Street. For more information call (989) 348-7123.
