Senior Center to host breakfast presentation - The Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center will host a free breakfast presentation on Tuesday, August 21, at 9 a.m. The topic will be Dental Problems Change as We Age featuring guest speaker Dr. Ralph Oppermann, D.D.S., F.A.G.D. from AuSable Family Dental. To learn more about what we can do to help our oral health as we age, join Dr. Oppermann for this free breakfast presentation. Veterans can get ride to VA hospital - Veterans living in Crawford, Kalkaska, Roscommon, Otsego, or Ogemaw counties can arrange to be picked up along the I-75 corridor for a ride to the VA hospital by a Disabled American Veterans van. Call the Veterans Service Office at (989) 344-3861.
La Leche League to meet in Grayling - La Leche League will meet in Grayling on Tuesday, August 21, at 2 p.m. in Munson Hospital’s Milltown Room. The group welcomes expectant and new mothers, along with their babies, to the breastfeeding support group. La Leche League is an international organization which has been providing education and help to women since its beginning in 1956.
