GPA to conduct house decorating contest
The Grayling Promotional Association is conducting a house lighting/decorating contest. If you would like to participate – you must live no further than three miles out of town – please fill out a form (which can be picked up at the Festival of Trees in the Grayling Mini Mall starting November 13). Houses must be decorated by November 19. Judges will look at the decorated houses one night between November 19 through November 28. GPA will announce the winner on WQON radio on November 29 at noon. First prize is $100. Second and third place will receive $50.
Play bingo via Zoom
The Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center invites you to play bingo via Zoom on Wednesday, November 18, at 12 p.m. If you have any questions or would like to sign up, email Kaitlyn at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Zoom link for the game along with bingo cards will be provided to you. Bingo cards can be printed or used on the computer.
COA offers Zoom class
The Crawford County Commission on Aging will offer its monthly online Introduction to Zoom class on Friday, November 20, from 12-1:30 p.m. Walk through how to register for classes, log on, and use Zoom so you can take classes online. Try out Zoom and play with its features while someone is available to talk you through any challenges. You can join in using a laptop or desktop computer, tablet, iPad, or smartphone. A call-in phone number is also available through Zoom, which functions like a conference call. Registration is required; call (989) 348-7123.
Baby To Toddler Closet to be open
The Crawford County Baby To Toddler Closet will be open on Thursday, November 19, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Baby To Toddler Closet has a new number for you to call to let volunteers know what items you would like besides diapers and wipes. The new number is (989) 889-4745.
