Christmas Walk to be held Saturday 
The 2021 Christmas Walk is slated for 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, in downtown Grayling. Santa Claus will be at the AuSable Artisan Village from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the Light Parade is slated for 5 p.m. Pony rides and reindeer will be at Huntington Bank and the Crawford County Museum will be open at noon. Merchants will be offering the Spend Ten Win Big promotion; for every $10 spent at a participating business customers will receive a raffle ticket and have a chance to win a gift basket. The museum will be decorated for Christmas and it will have collection boxes available for Toys for Tots donations.
Thanksgiving dinners to be delivered
The delivery-only 2021 Crawford AuSable Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Thursday, November 25. More drivers are needed to deliver the meals. To volunteer as a driver for the Crawford AuSable Thanksgiving Dinner, contact Patty Crandall at 989.745.3557. To reserve a meal, call 989.387.3672 before noon on Wednesday, November 24, and leave a name, phone number, delivery address, number of meals needed, and any special instructions for delivery. There is no cost to have a meal delivered; it’s free of charge to anyone in Crawford County.
Vaccine clinic to be held at GHS 
District Health Department #10 and Grayling High School’s Viking Wellness Center are hosting a COVID Vaccine Clinic for ages 5 and up at the GHS Cafeteria (1135 N. Old US 27) from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 18. Under 18 must have a parent/legal guardian present. Boosters will be offered for people age 18 and up. Influenza vaccines will also be available. No appointments necessary.
Medicare presentation offered via Zoom
Join the Crawford County Commission on Aging on Tuesday, November 23, at 1 p.m. via Zoom for a presentation that will help demystify the issues surrounding Medicare. Tammy Findlay, Advocacy & Resource Coordinator, will discuss the various parts of Medicare including what is covered or not covered, Medicare Supplement and Prescription Drug Plans, and how Medicare recipients who have low income can get assistance paying for Prescription Drug Plans and the Medicare Part B premium. Church to host Free Community Dinner
Michelson Methodist Church will be hosting a Free Community Dinner on Monday, November 22, from 5-6 p.m. (or until food runs out). Enter through the Michigan Avenue entrance. Masking is required in the building until food is served. Handicapped accessible. All are welcome for food and fellowship.
