Christmas sign painting party to be held - The Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center – along with Heather Bennet from Creative By Nature – is hosting a painting party to paint a “Merry Christmas” wood pallet sign. No experience is required. This event will be held on Thursday, December 5, from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Grayling Nature Center. This event is $25 per person and includes all the supplies/materials you will need to paint your work of art. Payment can be made at the Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center prior to the class date. Breakfast presentation topic is diabetes - The Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center will host a breakfast presentation on Tuesday, November 26, at 9 a.m. The topic will be Diabetes Education, featuring Tina Fluegel, RN and Certified Diabetes Educator at Munson Medical Center in Grayling. The breakfast presentation will offer valuable information regarding diabetes and a multi-disciplinary approach to addressing diabetes health issues. Breakfast includes an omelet station, hash browns, muffins, mixed fruit, juice, and coffee. Donations are appreciated.
