Lovells Satellite Meal to be held - The community is invited to the Crawford County Commission on Aging’s Lovells Satellite Meal on Friday, December 21, at 12 p.m. at the Lovells Township Hall. The lunch includes chicken and mushroom orecchiette, broccoli and cauliflower, and grapes. Lunch is open to the public. The cost of the lunch is a suggested donation of $3.50 for those 60 and over and a $5.50 cost for those under 60. Munson Home Health will provide blood pressure and sugar checks and Bingo will be played following the meal. Call (989) 348-7123 for a reservation. St. Mary’s to host Christmas cookie bake - The St. Mary’s Women’s Club will host its annual Christmas cookie bake sale on Saturday, December 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Family Center.
Artisan Village to host free concert - Dharma Records and the Artisan Village are excited to announce a lively Christmas celebration on Wednesday, December 19, from 7-9 p.m. with The Jazzed Because Quartet, performing some of their original music as well as songs for the season. Senior Center to host cornhole play - Cornhole will continue to be played inside at the Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center and everyone is invited to come and play. All skill levels are welcome. This activity is scheduled once a month after the Birthday Dinner. This month, cornhole is being held on Thursday, December 20, at 5:45 p.m. This is a free activity. From 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. enjoy a Swiss steak dinner. Those 60 years of age and over dinner is a suggested donation of $3.50. Those under 60 the cost is $5.50. No Excuse Mom exercise sessions to be held - No Excuse Mom meets on the first and third Wednesday of every month at the Nature Center next to the City Park on James Street. The goal of No Excuse Mom is to encourage health, friendship, and community and offer positive role models for children. There is “no excuse” for not prioritizing health. Meetings are free and children are welcome. Sessions run from 7-8 p.m. Meetings include a workout and play time. Join the Facebook group No Excuse Moms Grayling for updates and information.
