Baby to Toddler Closet has new hours
The Crawford County Baby to Toddler Closet is now open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of the month. It is curb service only but people can choose items from the entrance of the red door at the back of the Michelson Memorial United Methodist Church. Please call if possible to give volunteers your information and number of children and diaper size. The number is (989) 889-4745; this is the new number to see if the Baby to Toddler Closet is open in case of bad weather. The Baby to Toddler Closet is still saving Spartan Family Fare receipts to use for items such as diapers, wipes, underwear, socks, and shoes.
City issues run water order
The City of Grayling announced on Wednesday, February 17, that it “has issued a mandatory run water order” until further notice due to recent cold temperatures. “The water should be run in a pencil lead size stream in one sink within the home or business, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This should be done until the City of Grayling issues a stop run water notice,” according to the city’s website, www.cityofgrayling.org.
