Crawford AuSable Thanksgiving Dinner

The 2020 Crawford AuSable Thanksgiving Dinner will be by delivery basis only. There will not be a gathering this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. The main part of the dinners will come frozen and other items will include cole slaw, rolls, cranberries, and muffins. The Thanksgiving Dinner event is looking for driver volunteers. To volunteer, call event co-director Patty Crandall at (989) 745-3557. Crawford County Transportation Authority

Crawford County Transportation Authority (Dial-A-Ride) hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Dial-A-Ride is no longer doing free groceries or prescriptions. Dial-A-Ride is available to pick up and deliver Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center Congregate Meals for $1 and Michelson Memorial United Methodist Church Monday Night Community Dinners for $1 (senior price).

Grayling High School Athletics

The varsity volleyball team will host a meet at Grayling High School at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 19. The boys soccer team will host Harbor Springs at 5 p.m. on Monday, September 21.

Hanson Hills Recreation Area

Grayling Recreation Authority's 2020 Flag Football Season has been cancelled.

Crawford County Libraries

The Crawford County Devereaux Memorial Library is now open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is a limit of 25 patrons in the building at any given time. Patrons must wear face masks and practice social distancing. The Frederic Community Library is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. Only 10 people are allowed inside at one time. Contact the Frederic Library at (989) 348-4067.

Wellington Farm USA

Wellington Farm USA is now open only three days per week (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). On the other days of the week, visitors can walk through the established roads but all buildings will be closed. The Corona Corn Maze at Wellington Farm USA will be open on Fridays from 1 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission to the maze is $8 per person. 

Grayling Regional Chamber of Commerce

The Grayling Regional Chamber of Commerce office “is currently open by phone, email, or appointment only.” The phone number for the Chamber of Commerce is (989) 348-2921. 

Kirtland Community College

Kirtland will feature a COVID-19 Neighborhood Testing Site on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting on Saturday, September 5. 

Crawford County Commission on Aging

Aerobic Drumming, Zumba, and Stretch classes are available via Zoom. Congregate meals will continue to be offered Monday through Friday on a curbside take-out basis from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Lunch and dinner, as well as weekend meals, can be picked up at that time. Call the COA at (989) 348-7123 to order takeout meals. Meals on Wheels will continue to be delivered on an alternative schedule. In-home services will continue. Telephone reassurance calls will continue. 

Crawford County Veteran's Service Office

The Coffee Hour slated for the second Thursday of each month is cancelled until further notice.
