Anna Mae Payne, 101, of Grayling, passed away on January 27, 2018.
She was born on February 15, 1916, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Max and Lena Demenov.
Anna was married to Bernard Payne for 47 years before he preceded her in death in 1984.
She retired from Nabisco Corporation as Office Supervisor after 35 years of employment.
Anna was an avid bowler. She was still bowling strong at 100 years old.
She enjoyed crocheting and took great pride in caring for her yard.
She is survived by her daughter, Bernadette (Steve) DeHart, of Grayling; grandchildren: Doug DeHart, Tammy Henning, Michelle Padgett, Russell and Chris DeHart; great-grandchildren: Jason, Nicholas, Lena, Katie, Kalynn, Kilee, and Zach; great-great-grandchildren: Cody, Kayla, and Fae; sisters: Alice Spinola and Stella Lapinia; brother: George Demenov.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 sisters.
Services were held on January 30, 2018.
Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
