Charles R. Snider
Charles R Snider passed on July 1 at home in Ocala, Florida.
Chuck (Bud) as he was known, was born in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
He graduated from Orange High School in Chagrin Falls.
His parents were Jane and C. R. Snider (Ray of Ray's Canoe Livery in Grayling, Michigan).
Chuck was a WWII Air Force Veteran.
He was a graduate of The Ohio State University with his Bachelors degree, in Education.
He taught school in Lansing, Michigan for several years.
Like his father, Ray Snider, he taught Industrial Arts and helped his dad construct the original log building at Ray's Canoe Livery and helped design the Ray's green canoe logo that greeted people when they drove through town.
Chuck also sold real estate, building and heating supplies, as well as designing and building one of a kind custom furniture.
Chuck was known for his quick wit and sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jane and Ray Snider; sons, Curt and Bradley Snider; sister, Janet Pierce.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patsy Wiseman-Snider; daughter, Nanette Snider of Lansing, Michigan; and grandsons, Jonathon of California and Daniel of Michigan; sister-in-law, Phyllis (Roger) Kesseler of Michigan; brother-in-laws, Monty (Jill) Wiseman, Shaun Wiseman and several nieces and nephews.
