Judith Ann Kapets, 84, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Judy was born on January 30, 1938 in Sandusky, MI to Loren and Gladys (Teets) Lee. She married her husband John Kapets on January 30, 1960. Judy enjoyed gardening and trips to the U.P. with her husband John who was originally from Ironwood, MI. She also loved visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loving, caring, and compassionate. Her loss will be felt so deeply by everyone that knew her.
Judy is survived by her children Steve (Nancy) Kapets, Carol (Michael) Gordon, Suzanne (Thomas) Borsos and Robin Zokas; grandchildren Beth (Joshua) Martin, Michael Gordon, Andrew Branning, Kelly Branning, Sam (Bobbie Jean) Kapets, Gabrielle Zokas, Sarah (Jordan) Fite and Nathaniel Zokas; great-grandchildren Lucas Gordon, Hannah Gordon, Holly Gordon, Sarah Gordon, Cozmo Martin, Addison Martin and Zephaniah Kapets. She is preceded in death by her husband John Kapets.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, June 16, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Grayling, MI with Father Jerry Hunko officiating. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Grayling, MI.
