Margaret Cecilia Case 87, of Grayling was born Margaret Cecilia Baker to the late Oscar and Hannah Baker of Watson, Saskatchewan on December 28, 1931. She departed her earthly body on Sunday, July 21, 2019 surrounded by the love of her family and the comfort of her home.
Marge shared her life with her late husband, Gene Case in Grayling, Michigan and Hudson Florida.
Marge enjoyed celebrating life’s moments with her family and did so by hosting gatherings, sharing special meals, and creating unique gifts for her family.
She was a talented seamstress. Marge had a green thumb, which she shared with her children. She spent her later years cultivating and caring for her collection of plants, flowers, and gardens.
Marge was our family stone, always ready to share a hot cup of coffee, cold beer, or late night game of cards.
Survived by her children; Douglas (Ann Moss) Stephan, Cheryl (Billy) Lowes, Teresa (Phil) Romanic, and Billie Jo (Eds) Miller; daughter-in-law, Shelley Stephan; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her son, Jay Stephan, Jr.
Marge will be missed tremendously and is now looking down over her family.
Gathering of Family and Friends to Remember Marge will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019, between 4:00-9:00 p.m. at her home, 1951 Seven Pines (M-72, east of Grayling).
