Two Runners Qualify For State Finals

Junior Drew Moore and freshman Tierney Hartman advance to state meet with top 15 finishes during Region 19-3 cross country meet at East Jordan on Saturday
Two Grayling High School cross country runners – one boy and one girl – qualified for the Michigan High School Athletic Association State Finals with their placements during regionals over the weekend.
Drew Moore, a junior, finished 5th during the MHSAA Lower Peninsula Region 19-3 meet held in East Jordan on Saturday, October 29. He posted a time of 16:33.83 and was one of two state qualifiers for the Vikings.
Tierney Hartman, a freshman, qualified for the state finals with a 15th place finish during Saturday’s Region 19-3 meet. Hartman posted a time of 20:17.72.
