Football Golf Outing to be held - The Grayling Viking Football 2019 Golf Outing will be held on Saturday, May 4, at 10 a.m. at the Grayling Country Club (2122 I-75 Business Loop). Cost to participate is $60 per person or $240 per four-person team. Fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, and lunch. Tickets available for Spring Tea - A Spring Tea will be held on Sunday, May 19, from 2-4 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. It will be hosted by St. Michael’s Council of Catholic women. The tea is open to everyone in the community. Please buy your ticket early; only 100 tickets are available. Cost is $18 for adults and $10 for children under 18. No ticket sales at the door. Presentation topic is Advance Care - The Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center will host a free breakfast presentation on Tuesday, April 23, at 9 a.m. The topic will be Advance Care Planning & Advance Directives, featuring Steve Peterson, Community Health Specialist from Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital, Resource Coordination Department. Advance Care Planning focuses on learning about the types of decisions you might need to make if a medical crisis occurs. An advance directive is a legally binding document that allows you to designate who will advocate and speak out your medical choices if you are ever unable to speak for yourself. Breakfast includes an omelet station, hash browns, muffins, mixed fruit, juice, and coffee. The breakfast and presentation will be held at the Senior Center, 308 Lawndale Street.
