Falls prevention classes to begin 
Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention classes will be held online via Zoom on Mondays and Wednesdays, April 5 through June 7, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 6 through June 3, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (The class will not meet May 31.) Chronic pain workshop offered 
MSUE will present a free Chronic Pain PATH Series workshop online via Zoom on Sundays from April 11 through May 23 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Chronic Pain PATH is a six-week self-management online workshop designed for people living with chronic pain. Family members, friends, and caregivers are also encouraged to attend the workshop. Register online at
Smart Gardening course available online 
MSU Extension is offering a Smart Gardening With Vegetables 101 Online Course. Cost to participate is $30. The course covers gardening from start to finish: what you need to get started, types of gardening, planning and preparation, soil preparation, plants to select, starting and maintaining healthy plants, garden maintenance, harvest and storage, pollinators, and various gardening activities. Baby to Toddler Closet has new hours 
Crawford County Baby to Toddler Closet has new hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The open dates are the same (1st and 3rd Thursday of the month). It is curb service only, but you can select items. Go to the back of the church and enter by the red door. Call (989) 745-2805 first if possible to give volunteers your information, number of children, and diaper size. The Baby to Toddler Closet is still saving Spartan Family Fare receipts for items it cannot recycle such as diapers, wipes, underwear, socks, personal items, shampoo, and shoes. Church to host book signing/craft event
The Grayling Baptist Church – located at 705 Madsen Street in Grayling – is hosting a Vendor Craft Event and book signing by author Kurt Kolka with his new book “Afraid We Are Not” on March 26 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and March 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
