Quilting group to meet
The Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center is hosting Friends of a Feather, Quilting Group.  They meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at the Commission on Aging’s 308 Lawndale Street, Grayling location. They will be meeting April 5. Lunch is available to participants for a suggested donation of $3.50 for those over 60, or $6 for those younger than 60. Participants are encouraged to bring their Featherweight, any UFO/quilt/sewing projects to work on, small ironing and pad if they have one, and an extension cord. Yard sale event to help in battle vs. cancer
A Yard Sale Fundraiser to benefit Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will be held on Friday through Sunday, April 1-3, at 1021 Heather Lane in Grayling (across from the Recycling Center on North Down River Road) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Cash only sales. All sales are final. Event will include daily raffle drawings. Items for sale will include furniture, washer/dryer, lawn/garden, a snowblower, women’s clothing, and more.
Pickleball to be held at Senior Center
The Crawford County Commission on Aging is hosting Pickleball at its new Senior Center location just east of Grayling on M-72. Pickleball courts will be open Monday and Tuesday each week from 9-11 a.m. All are welcome to play, whether you are new to the sport or are already experienced. COA offers painting party
The Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center along with Jennifer Thompson, professional artist, is hosting a painting party Monday, April 11, from 1-3 p.m. This event is $20 per person and includes all the supplies/materials you will need. Registration and payment should be made at the Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center prior to the class date to reserve a spot. Payment is expected at time of reservation. Reservations will be confirmed the Friday before the paint class, and no refunds will be issued if commitment is not kept. Play bingo at Senior Center
Everyone is invited to play Medicine Shoppe Bingo monthly at the Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center. Play FREE to win Medicine Shoppe coupons. Easter Craft Show to be held
The Grayling Free Methodist Church (6352 M-72 across from West Side Diner) will host an Easter Craft Show Plus on April 3 and 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Church service is 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
