Thank You Grayling promotion to offer a day of deals downtown

‘Low key retail event’ to offer customers special deals and prizes as a way of showing appreciation for the support
Grayling Main Street and downtown businesses will be conducting a Thank You Grayling promotion on Saturday, February 6, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. to show appreciation to the community for its support during a difficult time.
“We are very pleased to see the businesses in our community sharing their appreciation for our residents and their loyal customers,” said Rae Gosling of Grayling Main Street.
Gosling said participating businesses for the event include Old Lumberyard Shoppes, The Curator, Flippin Sweet/The Sweet Life, Tip’n The Mitten, Grayling Restaurant, Coffee By Steph, AuSable Artisan Village, North Country Corner, Rolling Oak, and Goodale’s.
Gosling said the Grayling Fire Department and Paddle Hard Brewing are supplying free hot dogs for the event.
Grayling Main Street officials said the idea of the Thank You Grayling promotion was to have “a super low key retail event, nothing on the sidewalks or anything, just concerted promotion of sales and promos at businesses, to show some appreciation for all the residents that came out during the last mess of a year and holiday season and supported small businesses.”
“Sweet and simple,” Gosling said. “No closures, no set up, no activities, just an opportunity to offer sweet deals to residents that have been supporting local businesses during this crazy upside down time.”
Gosling said Grayling Main Street representatives will be passing out bags filled with prizes and coupons during the event.
